Winter Story Hour
February 13 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
For the 4th year, Friends of Adaire are thrilled to be hosting a Winter Story Hour in the Adaire library, this year on Tuesdays from 4-5 p.m., starting Tues., Jan. 9th. Co-hosted by FoA founder/board member Chris Morrissey Grubb and Mary Stephan and Natali Jones, this weekly event provides another free option for families with young kids in the witching hour after nap and before the end of the work day.
Enter through the visitor’s entrance on Thompson St. near Earl, up the stairs to the library. We’ll start off with circle-time reading, singing, and movement, followed up by crafts. All ages are welcome, though activities are primarily designed for ages 2-5.
This event series will continue as long as the cold weather does; in past years, we’ve stopped as early as the end of February and as late as the end of March. But when the weather’s nice enough for the kids to be outside playing in the schoolyard, we’ll end the indoor Story Hour.
